HAPPY Summer Solstice

June 20, 2012- Happy Longest Day of Year!

SUMMER SOLSTICE 2012

Summer Officially kicks off today with the Summer Solstice.   Today  is the longest day of the year, at least for the Northern hemisphere.   Summer Solstice   is the result of Earths northern south axis being tilted 23.4 degrees relative to the ecliptic, the plane of our solar system.  This tilt causes different amounts of sunlight  to reach  different regions of the planet during earth’s year long orbit around the sun.  ” Well that explains everything.”  Take a look at the diagram above.

I LOVE SUMMER

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF YEAR

To Summer

Summer is my favorite time of the year    Days are longer. The smell of BBQ is always in the air. Everyday in the summer is a beach day.   We can live in our bikinis or trunks  all day long.  Summer is just good for the soul.

SALUD! TO SUMMER

I LOVE summer. I LOVE BBQ. I love summer.. I love BBQ.

Somebody Stop Me!”  I am going back to the beach!!!

SEE YOU AT THE BEACH THE EAGLE IS LANDING!
